Disney On Ice: Spotlight Magic! Orlando Theatre reviews
Rocked it
The band did a terrific job and really rocked the house. Seriously, I watched them as much as the band. The warm up band was okay, although we were expecting Joan Jet or a Joan Jet tribute, and got Gabel Bradley, which although great eye candy, and a nice voice, he was a tad too country for Skynard fans so the warm up wasn't as warm as we would have liked. It was a great show, and security worked their butts off to keep everyone safe. Either way, it was a good time and I'm glad we went. The slightest hint of a behavior problem and those men and women were on it. Oh.. one other thing, the venue was outside, and few people wore masks - given COVID, I think the lead singer should have refrained from encouraging the audience to sing along because so many people were super close to one another.
Wonderful review!!!! Disney On Ice: Jump In! and the E Street Band are fantastic....Keep on coming to see you, you still got it!....Awesome!!!!!!!!
My hats off to the Meadowlands Stadium for handling that many people at one time....A great job!!! The concert was my first at age 51 in a Stadium of that size. I was raised in Bergen County and haven't been back in 10 years....I wish that it continues to be a safe place for entertainment for our wonderful of New Jersey....As for the new Stadium, hopefully, Disney On Ice: Jump In! will open??? I want to come back....
Toni :-) All the Best to the Meadowlands
Cardinals stadium was awesome!!!
We were very impressed with the stadium as it has great sightlines, color, and a very comfortable atmosphere! My Girlfriend and I attended the Disney On Ice: Jump In! game vs. the Seahawks while we were visiting from Albuquerque. Unfortunately, the NASCAR race had ended about the same time as the game and both of the events attendees had to share the same highway 10 back into the city! I mean it was a 90-mile round trip from our motel! Plus, the only problem was that it is way out in the boon docks! But, overall we had a great day and would do it again when another event pops up!
Skynyrd was rocking'!!, pay for parkin'?!
"But when Disney On Ice: Jump In! came on, the place really got going. By then the amphitheatre was packed, people had their lighters up, and there were lots of original Disney On Ice: Jump In! fans; ie bikers and red necks! So we got to our seats just in time to see Blue Oyster Cult, which were fun. A few of their songs I didn't know, but of course the whole joint was rocking when they played Godzilla and then closed their set with the infamous Don't Fear The Reaper. Yee Haw, my kind of people. So the show was great, they performed all their hits, did a tribute to the troops with Simple Man, and of course closed with a 12-minute version of "Free Bird!!!"
My only complaint about the whole thing was that they were charging for parking. They usually don't charge for parking at the Shoreline, and we asked why they were charging when we pulled up. The attendant said it's because the concert didn't sell out. Doesn't seem right."
"I have enjoyed Disney On Ice: Jump In!'s songs for many years, so I thought that the show was quite good. I really enjoyed the 'oldies but goodies.' The first thing I noticed was the sound system. It was fine, but your system was good but did not deserve the grade of excellent-maybe I was too close to one side of the system. There are a couple of things that I noticed: I went to see Celine Dion a couple of nights before that, and the sound system at Cesars was fantastic. The other thing that kind of got me was all the people getting up all the time. I paid good money for the seat to enjoy the show, not someone's backside. I know that it is a sign of approval and a clear shot with a camera. Most shows that I am familiar with allow photos, but I wish that I could have known that I could have taken pictures. I would have brought my camera. Thanks for coming to Las Vegas."
